Acitrus

For over *5 years, ACitrus has been dedicated to producing and marketing citrus products in Mexico and Internationally. With the cooperation from similarly minded Alamo area farmers Internacional Quimica de Cobre was created by an engineer named Juan Manuel Ram­rez. He pioneered the management innovations which made this company a profitable business and consolidated a variety of processes into one company producing citrus products for both the domestic and international markets. In the mid '*0's it was decided to take advantage of opportunities offered by Agroindustry by establishing the Food Division. The first factory to process citrus was built to produce orange juice concentrate (FOCJ). We've exported this product every year since then to the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Israel, and Japan, consistently exceeding all quality standards. The Citrus Factory is located in the northern part of the state of Veracruz known as Alamo. This region is well known for its abundance of outstanding agricultural production for more than just citrus. Papaya, corn, and other important commodities are produced here as well. *9% of the area is used to produce oranges representing *0% of Mexico's annual production. The distribution of our product is facilitated by the close proximity to the International seaports of Veracruz, Tampico, and Tuxpan, as well as the short trucking routes through Texas and the rest of the United States.
