Coalimex

Period from the year of ***2 to the year of ***4:

The company was established as early as 1/1/***2 originated from one part of Material Company under Ministry of coal and Power under the name of Coalimex Material import-Export Company (Coalimex) (under Ministry of Mine and Coal, after that under Ministry of Energy, which is now under the name of Ministry of Industry and Trade) with main duties as:

-         Export coal

-         Import and supply material-equipment, process of domestic orders.

 

From ********4:

After foundation of Vietnam National Coal Corporation on *0/*0/***4 and officially under operation on *1/*1/***5. Ministry of Industry gave a decision No. **7NL/TCCB on *1/4/***5 to shift Coalimex to be under Vietnam National Coal Corporation. On *5/*2/***6, the name was changed into Coalimex Import-Export and Cooperation Company and the international transaction name Coalimex is unchanged.

 

During this period, the main activities of the Company was kept up and under the new organizational structure. The company duty was supplemented with new activity of export man power exemption.

 

From ***5 to now:

This is shifting period of capital owning of the Company. The company changed to operate under form of Joint stock company under the decision No.**9/QD-BCN dated *1/*2/***4 of Ministry of Industry, State (with representative is Vietnam National Coal Corporation) hold control shares. Company's name changed to Vinacoal Import - Export Joint stock company and the trasaction name Coalimex

 

The name of company has been changed into Vinacomin-Coal Import Export Joint Stock Company  is unchanged and V- Coalimex for short since 1/1/***7, Coalimex for short since *0/***0

 

 

Continuing inherit traditional duties, the company has expanded to other areas such as investment, cooperate in investing in building works, office for rent, export some items outside anthracite coal.
