EDNA is one of the leading manufactures of Chocolates & Confectioneries in Sri Lanka. It boasts of its own modern production plants, a work force of over ***0 personnel and production capacities of over ***0 metric tons/month of chocolate in slabs, coated chocolate forms; which include cocoa butter, compound and white chocolates, wafers, hard-boiled deposited candy, along with Dark and Cooking chocolates. It also has a well established island-wide distribution network with its extensive fleet of vehicles reaching close to *5% of FMCG outlets covering the wholesale trade, grocery stores, pharmacies, hotels and supermarkets in almost every Sri Lankan town. The Quality policy of the company is to provide high quality products at affordable prices and the company expands and develops its products, processes and services which can compete with international brands and work towards continuously improving the effectiveness of the quality management systems. With strategic backward integration Edna manages its own supply chain by way of printing services; blister and vacuum form production, glucose production and cocoa mass, cocoa butter and cocoa powder production while its total requirement of wafers too are produced in-house. It also has its own cocoa processing plant that produces processed Cocoa derivatives, which are exported to global destinations. The extensive product portfolio of Edna Chocolates and Confectionaries are currently exported to the Asian Region, Middle East and Europe.
