Jinan Foundry and Metalforming Machinery Research Institute was founded in ***6, as a primary science & technology center specializes in foundry, metalforming and hydraulic industry which belonged to the former Ministry of Machinery Industry of China. 
JFMMRI can not only manufacture foundry machinery, metalforming machinery(such as CNC laser processing machinery, plate processing production line, special and general mechanical press, etc.) and hydraulic components. But also provide the supervision and inspection of quality of these machines as well as the related technical service. The products with advanced technology have mainly applied in the automobile, steel, electric power, vessel, energy, aerospace , and military industry.
JFMMRI is also responsible for the technology organization and service for the National Foundry and Metalforming Machinery Industry. National Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for Foundry and Metalforming Machinery, National Technology Standard Committee, Foundry Branch and Metalforming Branch of China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association Mechanical Products, Metalforming Academic Committee under plastic branch of China Machinery Engineering Society have located in JFMMRI. The key scientific and technical periodical (China Metalforming Equipment & Manufacturing Technology) have been published. So JFMMRI plays a crucial part on the development of China national machinery industry.
