COMPANY BACKGROUND

The plantation lies on a plain at the edge of a mountain range in the northern part of Davao, Philippines. The area was previously established and maintained by Stanfilco, a Division of the world-renowned food brand DOLE. For more than *0 years, the plantation contributed to the success of DOLE as the best producer of quality sweet bananas all over the globe.

In early ***0, the Philippine government granted the distribution of privately owned agricultural lands to its respective tenants. Subsequently, numerous groups of agrarian growers created cooperatives to continue the agri-business of growing and selling export-quality Cavendish bananas. 

The company envisions on becoming one of the leading banana suppliers in the Philippines. KRJJ’s goal is to provide export-quality bananas at the right value through business transparency and trust. It also aims to secure balance in the industry by looking after the welfare of banana growers and by ensuring that their economic and commercial needs are met.
           
The company, despite its being new as a business, has decades of experience in the banana industry. It is very much capable of keeping itself abreast with the challenges of the export market. KRJJ is here to find ways in reaching these targets!
