Nijera Cottage And Village Industries (NCVI)

NCVI is a workers' and artisans' owned Social Enterprise. It is about fair trade where the workers and artisans not only get a fair wage and democratically manage and run their own businesses, but also have total control over profits. The surplus generated by these various social enterprises contribute to the general well-being of local communities and help to create sustainable social, cultural and economic life. The collaboration between NCVI and CARE Bangladesh - an international NGO, not only aims to enable thousands of women and men to extricate themselves from poverty and contribute to the regional development of Bangladesh but simultaneously ensures all its customers of high quality unadulterated supplies of this dye on a regular basis.
