COMPANY PROFILE An after dinner chat at a Nadi hotel room in August ***9 for 3 people, who are connected in a very very special way, saw the formation of a new online travel company in Fiji. The formation of this new company, called Pacific Island Holidays, marked the beginning of a branded for the 3(later joined by a 4th islander) ***** all originated from 2 Pacific Island nations. The name Pacific was purposely used for 2 reasons :- 1) the founders are Pacific Islanders 2) they have the greatest desire to see that, one day, their online travel business would extend to cover all, if not *9%, of the island nations in the Pacific region. The vision of the four people saw the business being set up in Nadi(Fiji) in less than *2months from the date of their hotel room chat. With online business, a business website was constructed. With tourists branding the Fijian slowness in accomplishing tasks as Fiji Time, we unfortunately got caught in the same virus. Our website which was originally scheduled to be completed in April ***0, did not until June ***0. Because we are islanders we had no choice but to accept the reality of how things are done the Fijian ways. On the business front, for a beginner, Pacific Island Holidays has favorable contracts & agreements with major and small suppliers of tourism AND this is good news that any traveler would like to hear.
