SOLYVAL company, based on the seaport of the Reunion Island, is the first and only industrial platform for collecting, grouping, sorting, recycling and recovery of used tires on the Reunion Island . SOLYVAL is therefore the key element in the chain Reunion recycling and recovery of used tires, chain unique in the Indian Ocean and meets all European requirements and French hygiene, safety, and quality.

SOLYVAL thus provides a solution to the ***2 European legislation on environmental protection which prohibits the dumping or landfill in used tires.

Moreover, this activity is involved in the removal of a health phenomenon linked to the proliferation of mosquitoes (tires collecting stagnant water creating potential breeding sites of Aedes albopictus, the mosquito vector of chikungunya).

SOLYVAL thus provides solutions for the recovery of waste which had previously been a handicap for Reunion Island.

This reflection and this work led to the development of ecological alternatives in various sectors reasoned.
