Concrete is one of the frequently used building materials. The most concrete structures which present satisfactory performance. But in many structures affected by the cracks and the main reasons for these types of cracking are concrete internal/chemical process.The concrete is repaired by using crack injection technology. The concrete repair includes two concrete crack repair and structural repair. The selection of appropriate injection material is the first key factor for successful cracking repair. Crack injection for concrete can be categorized into two dry structural cracks & active leaking cracks. In dry structural cracks, the epoxy resigns method is used and inactive leaking cracks injection foams & resigns are being used. In epoxy injection, resins are the most used materials in injection systems. For the dry structural cracks, epoxy resin is usually injected into pre-installed ports in the concrete and the surface sealed with epoxy putty. Epoxy resins have high tensile strength and they are used in structural repairs ensuring the efficient transfer of strengths and recovering the structure rigidity conditions due to the strong adhesion between epoxy resins and concrete. But for actively leaking cracks polyurethane injection foams & resigns are being used. In polyurethane foam are flexible & guarantee a strong adhesion with the concrete in wet or dry cracks.
