our Company, TUBO PIPE is one of the main producer of  multilayer pipes here in Italy.
 
 
The multi – layer pipe is made up as follows:
 

• A thicker inner layer of cross linked polyethylene which makes the pipe particularly resistant to corrosion, ensures minimum pressure loss and drinkable water
• An intermediate very thin longitudinally butt – welded aluminium layer which makes the pipe stiff and mechanically resistant. This layer protects the pipe from physical agent, makes it pliable so that is possible to bend the pipe and keeping in the wanted position ; what is more it ensures resistance to oxygen from the air and considerably lowers the linear expansion coefficient.
• A thin outer layer of cross-linked polyethylene, protecting the pipe from damage caused by external agents and against abrasion.
• Intermediate adhesive layers : the three above described layers are separated by two thin films of glue ensuring the perfect adhesion of metal and plastic.
