Purpose:
Metal deactivator synthesized from DMTD can be used as antioxidant
in lubricating oil and inhibit copper corrosion. S-N bond of
disulfide bond is introduced into the macromolecule of DMTD, which
can enrich the anti-wear property of polymer under extreme
pressure. Secondly, DMTD can also be used as anode of battery in
electrochemistry. DMTD and non-ferrous metal reaction can be used
as color reagent. Secondly, derivatives of DMTD can also be used.
The curing crosslinking of halogenated compounds can be used as a
curing agent for halogenated rubber and also has a wide range of
applications in medicine.
