ABS resin, as a kind of thermo plastics, is widely used in automobile components, electric appliances, stationery and furniture field. ABS is featured with hygroscopicity; therefore, it takes around forty minutes to carry out the drying process before forming. And it even takes several hours to dry recycled ABS pellets to get rid of the moisture.

ABS Desiccant Masterbatch is a new type of functional masterbatch, specially developed to eliminate the moisture in ABS resin. With a small adding rate into the ABS resin before production, it saves the drying process and carries out the production process directly. ABS Desiccant Masterbatch is a kind of environment-friendly plastic material and can save production time, energy and cost.

According to different requirements, ABS Desiccant Masterbatch is divided into two models, A***8 and A***8.

Applications

A***8 mainly uses in recycled and virgin ABS resin with high requirements for physical properties.

Guidelines

1. Check the condition of inner packing, forbid using if damaged;

2. Use up within 8 hours after opening the inner packing;

3. Adding rate: 3%~8%;

4. Simply mix with plastic raw materials;

5. Forbid heating with wet plastic materials

Packing & Store

1. Handle carefully to avoid packaging damaged;

2. Store in ventilated, dry and cool place to keep out of sun exposure and rain;

3. Recommended storage life: up to 6 months provided it is stored as directed.
