Product Description

Activated carbons produced from coconut shells typically have a tighter, more microporous pore structure than their coal-based counterparts.  It tends to be harder, more resistant to abrasions and lower in ash as compared to similar grades of coal-based carbons. "The many uses of our activated carbon :
  i. gas phase absorbents are used for ( but not limited to):
        - cigarette filters
        - odor removal filter
        - gas masks
        - purification of different raw material  and processed gases
        - air purification in cars, houses, ships,etc
        - carrier of different catalysts
        - nuclear air filteration
 ii. liquid phase absorbents are used for (but not limited to):
        - dechlorinization
        - color, ABS, phenol removal in water
        - removes odorous molds, COD composition & THM in
                 waterworks
        - high load tertiary treatment for raw and other sewage
        - tertiary treatment for industrial wastewater
       
The following test standards are used in the analyses:
       - ASTM    (American Society for Testing and Materials)
       - AWWA   (Amercian Waterworks Association)
       - JIS         (Japanese Industrial Standards) "
