Araç or Araçal is common to hear both names, the strawberry guava fruit belonging to the Myrtaceae family, is a small, round fruit with seeds, the pulp color varies according to species, predominantly orange and yellow light. The fruit pulp is whitish, pale orange or yellow, depending on the species. The taste, characteristic resembles the guava, being more acidic and stronger aroma. 
Rich in vitamin C, the content of which is proportionally four times higher than citrus.
