Character: It is also called Copper Carbonate. It is peacock-green minor amorphous powder. Specific gravity is 3.*5. 
Copper Carbonate is not soluble in cold water or alcohol. And soluble in acid, cyanide, 
ammonium liquor and sodium alkali, ammonia salts. 
When Copper Carbonate is boiled in alkaline metal Carbonate solution brown Copper Oxide will be formed.
Application:
It is used to prepare Cupric Compounds in inorganic industry, 
and is used as organic synthetic catalyst in organic industry and additive in ormolu galvanization industry. 
Copper Carbonate is also used to make fireworks, paint, pesticide, antidote for phosphorous toxicity. 
Fungicide for seeds, copper additive for feeds and desulfier for raw oil storage.
