The use of a torsion coil spring instead of a compression spring enables the device to be shorter and to have a space-saving design.
Safe and simple balance adjustment
Safe and continuous adjustment is possible within the specified torque range just by turning the spring adjustment screw. You can set and release the screw during installation and maintenance with ease.
Reduced resistance when opening and closing a lid, even in the case of inclined installation
The use of a bearing that is effective for radial and thrust loads enables the cap balancer to open and close a lid using almost the same force as with horizontal installation, even when the lid is installed at an angle.
Simple disassembly and assembly

Precautions with the operating environment
Since anti-corrosive coating (electrostatic baking coating) is applied to the spring, it will not corrode when subject only to splashes of water. However, when water builds up inside the spring cover because the device is frequently cleaned or for other reasons, the spring may become immersed in water, resulting in the spring corroding and breaking. When using a cap balancer in this environment, use a totally waterproof type.
