Cashew nuts are generally at the end of the cashew apple, which is a yellow to red glove shaped drupe. They grow on cashew nut trees, which are native to subtropical climates.
Cashew nuts are mainly sought-after for the delicious taste of their beans contained in the shell. Historically from Brazil, it is now grown in some parts of Africa and Asia.

Cashew nuts shells contain a liquid that is used to generate energy as it reduces emission and smoke. The nuts are highly nutritional as they contain calories, minerals, dietary fiber and vitamins that help protect against diseases and cancers. The copper and iron in cashew nuts work together to help the body form and utilize red blood cells. This in turn keeps blood vessels, nerves, the metabolism, and bones healthy and functioning properly.
