ENOLZYME Cellulase can cut the fiber elements within the arbitrarily beta*1, *-glycosidic bond. Most animals do not produce cellulase in their bodies and can only partially break down cellulose through fermentation, limiting their ability to use energy in fibrous plant material. Cellulase can break down plant cell wall, release the nutrition inside.
 
Definition of ENOLZYME Cellulase Unit:
One ENOLZYME Cellulase unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme which hydrolyzes CMC-Na to get 1μmol reducing sugar (glucose) per minute, at *0℃ and pH 4.8 under the conditions of the test.
