Test principle
Immunocapture technique is used in this kit.Monoclon antibody to human IgM isÂ
coated on nitrocellulose filter (NC filter). Colloid gold conjugated with cytomegalovirusÂ
antigen is used as tracer. When tested serum sample is put on NC filter, IgMÂ
antibody to cytomegalovirus (CMV) in the sample binds cytomegalovirus antigenÂ
conjugated with colloid gold and monoclon antibody to human IgM, and compoundÂ
is formed on NC filterwhich is showed up as a prunosus strap.
