The new asphalt is based on modification with rubber powder-thermoplastic materials. This rubber powder-thermoplastic compounds are produced by blending of special activated rubber powder particles (AGP) with thermoplastic granulates as well with reagents suitable for improving of adhesive behavior of tyre-road contact to form a material suitable for modification of asphaltic layers such as overlays with excellent mechanical as well adhesive properties. The compound is produced in the form of granulates, which is shown in the Figure 1, where the granulates have an avarage size about 4 mm.
