Coal tar is a kind of black or black brown sticky liquid got during the process of coal coking .Coal tar has special distinctive odor. Its relative density is 1.*8~1.*3 and the open flash point is at **0°C, and it is slightly dissolvable in water and soluble in organic solvent like benzene, alcohol, ethyl ether, chloroform, acetone etc..
