Introduction
XF cyclone separator is mechanical separation equipment for separating immiscible liquid mixture with rotational centrifugal force.
It can be used for liquid clarification, slurry concentration, solid particle cleaning and solid phase
classification and separation for two immiscible liquids., etc. Because of its delicate design, strong separation ability, compact structure, small floor area, it is especially suitable for continuous process and automatic works.
 
Application
It is widely used in electrical power, chemical, petroleum, light industry, environment protection, mining, food, medicine, textile, dying, metallurgy, mechanical, building materials, coal and other industries. It is also suitable for filtering seawater, well water, ground water, river and various industrial solutions.  
 
Structural Principle
Waste water flows into outer cylinder of cyclone separator at certain flow rate in tangential direction and spins downwards along the inner wall of outer cylinder. Under centrifugal forces, larger particles sediment along inner wall of outer cylinder and waste water is primarily purified. Then the primarily purified waste water flows into inner cylinder in tangential direction, spins and sediments at a higher angular velocity along inner wall of middle cylinder. Smaller particles have larger centrifugal forces and the fine particles spins downwards along the inner wall of central cylinder. The particles gather and spin downwards along inner wall of outer cylinder and central cylinder. The purified liquid forms inner votex and flow out from overflow of inner cylinder.
When solids contents reach certain value, open the drain valve to discharge the sludge. Because the two solids are immiscible, so their physical and chemical properties won’t change. When we know solid particles accumulation law, sludge discharging can be accomplished by automatic and timed set.
When cyclone separator stars to work, the waste water flows into the tank rapidly, air enters into upper part of thank through equalizing tube and is discharged out from the vent valve to make the equipment work stably.
