Dynamiker Human Procalcitonin Assay is
used for the quantitative detection of Human Procalcitonin
in serum and plasma, offering a diagnostic reference for infection.
The kit is intended for professional use.
The PCT Assay is an immunoenzymatic sandwich
microplate assay which detects PCT in human serum or plasma. Serum
or plasma is added into microplate wells that are coated with
anti-PCT monoclonal antibodies, which then bind to PCT antigen in
the sample. The conjugate contains highly affinitive and specific
anti-PCT antibodies marked with HRP.
Theconjugate is pipetted into wells to form immune complexes. After removing the unbound materials by washing, the
substrate solution is pipetted and incubated. Stopping solution is
then added to terminate the color development. The result is
measured at **0 nm using an ELISA microplate
reader.

diagnostics and has no research data for children.
