The epoxy functionality provides excellent heat and light stability. They are also used as pigment dispersion agents and acid/mercaptan scavenging agents and epoxy reactive diluents. Epoxide substances are used as raw materials for various applications including functional fluids, fuel additives, polyol replacements, agricultural and pharmaceutical molecules, flavor & fragrances, reactive diluents in cationic and UV cure applications, surfactants, adhesives, sealants, coatings, and special inks.
