The Ferntree Cottage, Skin Care ranges have been created over the last seven years so that today, they are made using only natural ingredients: Beeswax, distilled water and tinctures of flowers and herbs, all of which are grown without the use of chemicals by ourselves or at a neighbours organic farm. These pure ingredients are blended by including borax a naturally mineral salt from Bolivia which aids soothing and healing. When the creams are cold, we carefully add the hand blended essential oils and then finally hand pour creams into their jars. Our range shown to the left is: �Country Garden� where the fragrances of Honey, Beeswax and my own flower garden are the inspiration for the essence of this new range of creams. Extracts include rose essential oils, blackcurrant leaves and lemon verbena. We also make �Autumn Mist� a range of soothing and healing skin cream, exfoliating cream and soothing lip balm. With undertones of rosemary, fennel, citrus and sandalwood which catches the spirit of an evening walk on an autumn evening. �Rock Pool� is a popular range of light non greasy cream, balm and salves which marries the mineral richness of carrageen moss with cooling peppermint and elderflower, held in pure rehydrating mineral water. �Boreen�, close your eyes and walk down a boreen in spring; this range encapsulates wild primroses, lemon and fruit blossom essences in balms, salves and light, rich creams. Ferntree Cottage botanical creams are an alliance of European and Maori traditional recipes traditionally used for healing. All Products are Irish with locally sorced, herb and floral essences and are individually hand made.
