Physico-chemical properties and specifications: 

Light-yellow transparent liquid with slight ethyl alcohol odor, easily soluble in ethyl alcohol, ketone, benzene, acetonitrile, dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide and chlorohydrocarbon and insoluble in water. 

Application

It is often used for processing some inorganic fillers such as carbon black, SiO2, etc. not only as activating agent and coupling agent, but also as the cross-linking agent, softener and reinforcing agent, and it is also used as reinforcing agent and vulcanizing agent in rubber industry. It can be used in natural rubber (NR), isoprene rubber (IR), butadiene-styrene rubber (SBR), butadiene rubber (BR), butyl cyanoacrylate (NBR), chloroprene rubber (CR), butyl rubber, halogenated butyl rubber (HIIR), ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM), and their oil-extended rubber and rubber blends. 



Functions: 

1.Non-vulcanized rubber: (1) decrease the Mooney viscosity; (2) reduce scorch; (3) promote the state of vulcanization; (4) dramatically improve the properties of mixing, rolling and extruding. 

2. Vulcanized rubber 

(1) Improve tensile strength; (2) improve strength of tensile stress at given elongation; (3) reduce permanent deformation; (4) improve themogenesis and dynamic behavior; (5) improve silicon abrasion performance; (6) improve tearing strength; (7) improve swell property in the water and other materials..
