SHIELD-ZP is a two component heavy-duty anti-corrosive coating, which is suitable for severe corrosive environment with long protection period required. SHIELD-ZP is primer on rusty surface for steel structure, which could achieve very good anti-corrosion performance when used with SHIELD-ZF.
 
SHIELD-ZP could be applied directly on metal surface covered by rust and former coatings. It gets excellent protective performance very easily. Its re-coat interval is very short, which save time and cost.
 
SHIELD-ZP is of high permeability (higher than water). It could be coated directly on any rusty steel surface with no requirement of rust thickness. It can rapidly expel the air and water from the bottom of rusty layer.
 
SHIELD-ZP could also form continuous sealed barrier by combining the loose and porous rust layers, thus preventing air and water to permeate again. Meanwhile, it can stabilize the harmful iron compounds to form a sealed protective film.
 
SHIELD-ZP has a large coating area, which is **3 times larger than conventional coatings, thus could significantly reduce the cost of material.

If steel get rusty again by improper operation, the pitting area will not expand. Simply recoat the pitting area after removing the rust
