Property:KNO3is the rhombic system crystal powder or grain. Density:2.**9,Melting Point:**4℃.While being heated up to about **0℃，it will decompose and release oxygen and turn into potassium nitrite,as the heating going on, it will eventually decompose into potassuum oxide and nitrogen oxide. Dissolved in water,soluble in liquid ammonia and glycerin,insoluble in absolute ethyl alcohol and ether. It is not liable to deliquesce and is oxidant.
 
Usage: KNO3 is used in industry of fine chemicls,conducting heat molten salt of organic chemical industry( melamine,phthalic anhydride,acroleic acid,cis-butenedioic anhydride,pyrocatechin etc.) ,metal heat treatment,special glass,blasting fuse,blaze,medicine,making ceramic glaze,cigarette paper,catalysator and milling of ares.Potassium Nitrate usde for agriculture can be used as compound fertilizer and foliar spray fertilizer for crop and flower.
