HSM2 Series Moulded Case Circuit Breaker

1   Application 

HSM2 Series Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB in brief hereinafter) is suitably applied in AC *0Hz electric grids with rated insulation voltage **0V, rated working voltage **0V or below and rated current *0A~**0A for electric power distribution and for infrequent switchover under normal circuit conditions as well as for protection of circuits and equipment against overload, short circuit and under-voltage.

The MCCB with rated frame level **0A and below may be used for infrequent start and stop of squirrel-cage motors as well as overload, short circuit and under-voltage protection of circuits and devices. The MCCB may be divided into transparent and opaque types. As internal structure may be clearly seen, the transparent MCCB's reliability and safety are greatly increased.

  For *-pole MCCB, there is no overcurrent trip for neutral pole(N pole),and the N pole will be on and off together with other 3 pole when operation.



3. Working conditions and installing conditions:
The MCCB works competently under the following working conditions:

1)  Installation location not over an altitude of ***0 meters above sea level;

2)  Ambient temperature not higher than + *0ºC nor lower than - 5ºC;
 
 Places where there is no explosive risk nor electric conductive particle media nor such gases which can corrode metals and destroys insulation to an inacceptable degree;
4)  Places where there is no exposure to rains and snows;

   5)   Pollution Grade 3;

   6)   Installation category III.

The basic installation mode of the MCCB may be both vertical and horizontal.
