LIVOTON PFA is
a foaming agent made up of protein hydrolyzed, which form a
highly stable foam.
LIVOTON PFA is
used in mixes of cellular concrete from **0 to ***0 kg/m3,
where it is important to reach the best mechanical strength,
for the production of cellular concrete blocks.
Diluted in water and processed in a foam generator with
compressed air LIVOTON PFA allows produce very fine and
stable high quality foam. Depending on dilution and settings of
the foam generator.
LIVOTON PFA warrants
high stability of the foam, which causes no chemical reaction
in the concrete but merely serves as wrapping material for the
air entrapped. LIVOTON PFA produces no toxic fumes or
emission over its lifetime. Store-life of the LIVOTON PFA
is guaranteed to be at least *8 months when adhered to
instructions.

FOAMED CONCRETE PROPERTIES
The main physical properties of cellular concrete produced with
our foaming agent LIVOTON PFA are:
Life: Cellular
concrete is a long life material. It resists very well to the
cycles freeze – thaw.
Quick mounting: The
low density of foam concrete with the bigger dimensions of
blocks compared to bricks, allow to increase the speed of
laying. Foam concrete is easy to process and cut, to place
electrical wiring, sockets, and pipes.
Microclimate: Cellular
concrete by preventing the loss of heat in winter, and very
high temperatures in summer and by controlling air humidity by
absorbing it, it helps to create a favorable microclimate (like
in a wooden house).
Sound insulation:
Cellular concrete has a high property of acoustic absorption.
Buildings made of porous concrete meet the requirements for
sound insulation.
Cost-effectiveness:
The high geometrical exactness of dimensions of cellular
concrete allows to lay blocks with glue, to avoid “thermal
bridges” in walls and to make thinner the inner and outer
plaster.
