Dimensions of matrix and pixel are customized based on requests, gap between each pixel is generally set at 0.1mm, while BaSO4 is used as seperator with excellent reflectivity, by which the photons, excited by gamma rays, can hardly across it into neighboring pixel, ensure the minimized cross-talk. 
 

Regular properties of LYSO ce array:

1. Array size: 4 x 4, 8 x 8, *6 x *6, *3 x *3, *3 x *3 pixels…etc
2. Pixel size: 1 x 1 x *0 mm, 2 x 2 x *3 mm, 3 x 3 x *5 mm, 4 x 4 x *2 mm……
3. Gap between each pixel: 0.1 mm generally; 0.*8 mm available
4. Reflector: Barium Sulfate(BaSO4), ESR 3M film
5. Pixel light output uniformity in arrays: +/*5%

LYSO ce array is an essential component used in Positron Emission Tomography(PET) facility, included whole body, small animal and specific organ like brain, Breast, thyroid…etc. We design and develop the pixelated LYSO ce crystal based on request, the BaSO4 was used as separator, which is essential to acquire high light output, but if clients aim for timing resolution, the 3M ESR film will be used then.
