Copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether MP**5

Properties:

MP**5 resin is copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether .The vinyl isobutyl ether offers the product good link function. MP**5 resin has good binding property as a result of its special molecular structure in which ester bond is resistance to hydrolysis and combined chlorine atom is very stable. MP**5 can be used to produce high quality paints with good water resistance, salt resistance and chemical resistance.

With no reactive double bond, MP***-resins molecular is not easily acidized and degraded. The molecular also has excellent light stability and doesnt easily turn yellow or pulverized. The existence of ether bond gives the molecules good internal plasticization. So the resins already make the paints flexible enough and do not require additional plasticizer in the paints. And the paints also will not be gradually cracking that caused by migration of plasticizer.

MP**5 contains copolymer of vinyl chloride ester, which ensures the paints have good adhesion on various materials. Even on the surface of aluminum or zinc, the paints still have good adhesion.

MP**5 contains chlorine atom, which gives the resins fireproof ability. With addition of other flame resistant pigment, filler and fire retardant, they can be used in fire retardant paint for construction and other fields.

Vinyl Chlorinated Resin MP**5 

Solubility: MP**5 is well soluble in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, ester, ketone, glycol ether acetates, and some glycol ether. MP**5 also can be dissolved in *0% toluene/xylene solvent at normally temperatures.

Compatibility: MP**5 is miscible with or partly miscible with vinyl chloride copolymer, polyacrylic ester, unsaturated polyester resins, aldehyde resins, petroleum resin, natural resins, alkyd resins modified by oil and fatty acids, drying oil, tars, and bitumen, etc.

Application: MP**5 is widely used as basic resins in anticorrosion paint (steel structure, container, marine, underwater structure, machinery and automobile engineering, transport equipment & industrial paint) and it is also well-known in composite inks.

Package and storage:

1. Package: Packed in kraft bag with PE liner. *0 kgs/bag.
