Equipment overview.

The filter media of the activated carbon filter can use activated carbon, quartz sand filter and gravel. Activated carbon filter media can be used mainly activated carbon, quartz sand and gravel as the bedding layer. Mainly through the adsorption and reduction of activated carbon to remove the residual chlorine, colloid and other small particles in the water, the use of the interlayer space to remove larger particles and suspended matter.

It can be designed for both manual and automatic control, which can be switched between each other. The automatic control system monitors and controls all operating points and process control points, so that operation can be unattended and fully automatic. The system uses gas-water backwashing and the backwashing waste water is discharged. The system design mostly uses the concentrated water from the reverse osmosis system for backwashing, which improves the utilisation rate of the water.

Filter backwashing can be carried out automatically through the backwashing time interval set by the upper computer or according to the set value of the differential pressure at the outlet of the inlet filter.

The operation modes of the filter include water production, water backwashing, gas backwashing, positive washing, etc. All operation modes operate automatically according to the set program.

7. The system is designed to use the concentrated water of the subsequent device for backwashing, which improves the utilization rate of water.

Mainly used in the pre-treatment process stage of domestic drinking water and industrial water containing small amounts of iron, manganese, suspended matter and residual chlorine.
