INVISIBLE PROTECTION AGAINST WEATHERING WITH NANOFLEX® ANTIGRAFFITI Nanoflex® ANTIGRAFFITI is a graffiti resistant formula to coat porously silicate substrates with, such as sandstone, concrete, terracotta and clay. Nanoflex® ANTIGRAFFITI is solved in water and instantly ready to apply. It contains a bifunctional bonding, in which the included silicon functional groups create a permanent connection with the oxides, hydroxy- and corboxyfunctions of the substrat’s surface. The opposite aligned functional group is causing an extreme low surface energy on the top of the substrate. Such layers have the distinction of a perfect hydro- and oleophobia. Besides the chemical bonding to the substrate, Nanoflex® ANTIGRAFFITI developes a cross linking by building up two- and three-dimensional networks Nanoflex® ANTIGRAFFITI is instantly ready to apply right on the surface of the substrate, where the absorbed Nanoflex® ANTIGRAFFITI is forming a chemical and mechanical persistent layer. Because of the particular formula, Nanoflex® ANTIGRAFFITI is optimized for absorbent surfaces. Therefore, it can be used advantageously as an invisible, waterproofing, graffiti-resistant and UV-stable coating on any kind of porous substrates like sandstone, concrete block, terracotta or stone panels. As areas of application , floor coverings and wall covers, building facades or bridges are to be considered. Nanoflex® ANTIGRAFFITI only covers the inside of the pores with an ultra thin layer, so the substrates remain breathable after coating.
