Heat resistant glass, glass fibres, porcelain enamals, boron
chemicals, metallurgy, flame retardant in sellulosic
insulation, mattress batting, fungus control and textile
products.

Soluble in water, ethanol, glycerol, ether and essential oil.
Aqueous solution is weak acidic. It will gradually lose water
