The Planetary Power Mixer (PPM) is a high-performance vacuum mixer ideal for wet process to reach homogeneous mixtures such as in the paint industry. Thanks to the planetary motion and the high speed disperser shaft and the high power, particles can be broken up quickly giving a solid suspension of smooth and perfect appearance, which is very important in painting. The rotation blade will usually be a multi-blades type; more efficient than trapeziform to stir up solution in single planetary motion. As for the dispersion impeller, a wide diversity is available and our recommended tools are : the saw-tooth impeller (high shear/axial flow) for solid to liquid solution ideal for grinding and dispersing pigments. the butterfly impeller (hydrofoil/radial fow) for low to medium viscosity and liquid to liquid solution.
