PVDF is a
highly non-reactive thermoplastic
fluoropolymer.The main chain of PVDF has alternating CH2 -
and CF2 - group structure. Affected by it, PVDF has some excellent
properties ofPE andPTFE. PVDF has excellent weather resistance,
good mechanical properties, and can be dissolved with solvent to
prepare solvent based coatings. Therefore, PVDF is mainly used in
climate aging resistant coatings, extrusion, injection and molding
products. Because of its strong weather resistance, it needs no
maintenance for long-term outdoor use. It has been widely used in
power stations, airports, highways, high-rise buildings and other
fields.
