FEATURES: Ritver Syn Alkyd Topcoat Enamel (Standard) is based on a drying oil Alkyd resin, containing Titanium dioxide and other carefully chosen pigments. It is a product used as general purpose Topcoat enamel which is very versatile and can withstand wide range of temperatures. It has good adhesion and exhibits good gloss after drying. INTENDED USE: • Substrates: plaster, masonry, brickwork, blocks work, wood work and metals. • Area of Use: Interiors and Exteriors. TECHNICAL DATA: • Finish :: Glossy and smooth. • Colour :: White + all colors as per the Ritver shade card. • Specific gravity :: 1.*6 +/- .**5 • Mixed Solids (% by volume) :: *0 +/- 2 • Diluent :: White spirit. • Flash point :: *8?c • Spread Rate: While the spread rate is directly dependant on the surface profile and also the type of undulations it has, as a thumb rule Ritver Syn Alkyd Topcoat Enamel (Standard) would cover *0 – *2 meters per lit. • Drying Time (*0? C) : Set to touch: 3 – 4 hours. : Ready for Recoat: app *6 hours. • Recommended DFT : 1 mist coat followed by a good full coat. App *0 - *0 mic. SURFACE PREPARATION: A good surface preparation and following the method statement / recommended system procedure of Ritver is an ideal recommendation for the application of Ritver Syn Alkyd Topcoat Enamel (Standard). For Plaster, Masonry & Concrete : Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning & drying. A laitance free surface should be achieved by good sweep blast or a wire brush. Apply one coat of Ritver Synthetic Red oxide / Ritver Synthetic Primer for wood, followed by Ritver synthetic Undercoat and proceed for Ritver Syn Alkyd Topcoat Enamel (Standard) after drying. Apply one good coat or two nominal coats with a spray or a suitable roller and obtain the desired coverage.
