Product Description

SIDAC (Silicon Diode for Alternating Current) represents an unique set of thyristor. The SIDAC is a bidirectional voltage triggereed switch. Some characteristics of this device include a normal *5 to **0 Volts switching point, negative resistance range, latching characteristics at turn-on and low on-state voltage drop. One cycle surge current capability up to *0 Amperes makes the SIDAC an ideal product for dumping charged capacitors through an inductor.
