SILICA FLOUR DAK is Silicon Dioxide (SiO2), used to prevent strength retrogression and the associated increase in permeability that occurs in set Portland Cement at elevated temperature. Silica Flour DAK is used to stabilise Cement systems for high temperature wells (above ***0F). Silica Flour DAK is advantageous in preparing low density slurries where settling might be a problem.
