1. What is silica metal fume

Silica metal fume (Or silica fume, micro silica) is a byproduct of producing silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloys.

Mine electric furnace generates mass very reactive SiO2 and Si gas. The gas was oxidation and condensation precipitation with air rapidly.
