Spiral wound gaskets TR/TAC/TAI/TACI are composed of a metallic continuous strip with special shaped profile, coupled with a continuous filling strip (Abestos, free, PTFE, Graphite, etc).

Evenly wound gaskets, owing to the elastic action of the special metallic strip profile, is that of offering a perfect sealing under fluctuating pressure and temperature conditions, also where the temperature excursion has consider able values, maintaining tightening by elastic recovering.

The spiral wound gaskets we manufacture based on the standard ASME B*6.*0 and also according to the technical draw, in different materials such as: AISI **4, **6L, **1, **7, INCOLOY **0, INCONEL **0, MONEL **0, etc.

USUAL PROFILES OF SPIRAL WOUND GASKETS: 

Valves, pumps, caps, male-female or flat face flanges. Inner and outer ring are reinforced with various materials with several metal layers without filling soft material to provide optimum stability and better  ompression and sealing. Spiral wound gasktes suitable for male-female flanges or flat annular engagement.

Standard flanges, RF, high pressure. It is equipped with an outer ring of a solid metal that keeps the joint perfectly centered on the face of the flange. It provides additional radial strength to prevent gasket to deform and also acts as a compression limiter. Above **0 class is recommended to add an inner ring in the spiral wound.

Large male-female flanges with high pressure. A solid inner ring which acts as a compression limiter and fills the annular space between the edge of the flange and the inside of the joint. This board is designed to prevent accumulation of solids, reduce turbulence typical of fluids and minimize erosion of flange. Spiral wound suitable for male-female pipes.

High pressure and temperature, corrosive and toxic media. IIt is a gasket having an inner ring to provide additional compressive limit and also performs the barrier function of heat and corrosion. Prevents erosion of the flanges.

Spiral wound gasket suitable for flat and embossed face, especially suitable for high temperatures and pressures, ***1b class and upper class or when it needs to be in contact with corrosive and toxic substances.
