Styrene-butadiene rubber
(SBR) is the most widely used rubber with the largest production
& sale volume among all synthetic rubbers. Our SBR are
produced through emulsion polymerization of butadiene and styrene
at low temperature with redox polymerization initiators. The main
process include free radical emulsion copolymerization,
intermingle, agglomeration, etc.
SBR has the broadest applications
in the manufacture of automobile tires, shoe soles, conveyor
belts, rubber tubing and many others.
Compared with natural rubber, proper compounding is expected to
give SBR of higher resistance to abrasion, heat, aging, ozone and
water. SBR also provides excellent uniformity and airtight
capability. SBR can mix with natural rubber with any proportion
to produce rubber.
