TMPDE is a compound of three kinds of Allyl Ether, full name is Trimethylolpropane Diallyl Ether, including Monoallyl Ether, Diallyl Ether, Triallyl Ether. Because of such structure, TMPDE becomes a excellent Air Drying Agent, is widely used in Unsaturated Polyester Resin, Alkyd Resin, Polyurethane Resin, Epoxy Resin, Soluble Resin, Poly-Putty Base Resin, etc.

TMPDE Application

TMPDE dosage rise continuously in specialty resin, application includes Unsaturated polyester resin, Alkyd, Polyurethane resin, Epoxy resin, Water based resin.

 

A Unsaturated polyester resin

 

Traditional unsaturated polyester resin is mainly synthetic by saturated dibasic acid, unsaturated dibasic acid, polyhydric alcohol and styrene . Such unsaturated polyester curing processing is anaerobic, namely keep lasting sticky of surface touched by air because of oxygenic polyanion reaction, therefore, when used in making coating, widely adopt plastic film covering or add paraffin wax to isolate air, and astrict the wide application in coating.   Currently Air Drying Unsaturated Polyester has been widely applied in coating, and appraised by customer. Air Drying Unsaturated Polyester is mainly leading Air Drying Sense regimental in synthetic resin, like Allyl ether(CH2=CHCH2-O-), utilizing those sense regimental to absorb oxygen in air, occur forming curing film action by dry oil in air, capture oxygen in coating film priority, restrain inhibition reaction of free radical cross linking with oxygen to unsaturated polyester resin, realizes painting film self-drying, whereas TMPDE can offer Allyl ether sense regimental, so adding TMPDE in Synthetic unsaturated polyester resin can develop polyester air drying character, thereby realizes painting film self-drying character, develop unsaturated polyester level.
