When the transformer magnetic shielding transformer operates, the winding will generate magnetic field after passing the current. Because the transformer core in the winding is a good magnetic conductor, most of the magnetic flux is in the core. However, some magnetic fluxes are transmitted to the transformer shell through the air gap or transformer oil, and eddy currents are induced in the shell to generate heat, which not only increases the heat generation of the transformer, but also increases the loss of the transformer. Hanging a magnetic shield on the wall of the transformer oil tank can block the magnetic channel from the winding to the shell, greatly reducing the eddy current loss of the shell.
