The Operating Principle of tube ball mill

The tube ball mill is composed of horizontal cylinder, hollow shafts, and grinding head. The cylinder is long and full of grinding bodies. The cylinder is made from steel board and there are steel liners fixed on the cylinder. The grinding bodies generally are steel balls, and they are got into the cylinder according to different types and diameters.

the material flows into the barrel through hollow shaft of feed end. When ball mill rotates, the grinding bodies will be taken away by the barrels liners inside the barrel because of the functions of inertia, centrifugal force and friction. When the grinding bodies rise into a certain height, it will fall because of its own gravity. Those grinding bodies crush the material violently.

The material flows into hollow shaft through feeder, and then gets rotationally and evenly into the first warehouse with stepped liner, undular liner and steel balls. When the barrel rotates, its centrifugal force rises into steel balls to a certain height and then fall, and the steel balls thump and grind the material. After grinded coarsely in the first warehouse, the material flows into the second warehouse through monolayer partition. There are plane liners and steel ball to further grind the material. Finally the material power is discharged from stripper plate.

Installation and maintenance:

   1. Bearing. Crushers bearing bears the whole load of machinery, so reasonable lubrication has a close relation to bearings lifetime. The bearing has a direct influence on lifetime and rotary rate, and thus the lubrication has to be clean and good sealing.

  2. The new-stalled tyre is easy to be loose, so we have to have a regular check.

  3. Check if the parts of machine are normal.

  4. Check the grinding degree of grinding parts and ready to change them.

  5. If the bearings temperature is overheated, the present work should be stopped and check.

  6. If there is a impacting sound in the process of operation, stopping and checking.

The motor running

  1. The equipment is installed in the basis of horizontal concrete, using bolt to fix.

  2. The main machine body should be vertical to level when installation.

  3. After installation the workers have to check if bolts are loose and the bin gate is fixed tightly.

  4. Allocate power line and control switch according to equipments power.

  5. After check, the motor runs without load, If everything is ok, production continues.
