Wetting Agent N***0 Release Agent MSP***0 Description: Wetting Agent N***0 is a heavy duty wetting agent for the processing of melamine-formaldehyde resins that drastically reduces the surface tension, resulting in a superior wetting effect and an outstanding improvement of the flowability of aqueous impregnation resins, without having a negative impact on the resin spot life. This allows a better penetration of the paper and the enhanced levelling characteristics should reduce the required resin quantity for coating. At the manufacture of decor papers, even if they are difficult to process, the use of Wetting Agent N***0 allows coatings free of fish-eyes, streaking and air blisters. Wetting Agent N***0 prevents pigment loss (dusting), bleeding in resin bath and boosts the effect of hardeners in melamine formaldehyde resins. Reductions in press cycling time up to *5 % and lower hardener levels up to *0 % can be achieved. Because of special emulsifiers in Wetting Agent N***0, the product can easily be worked into the resin and a high compatibility with all melamine resin systems is achieved. Application Fields: Wetting Agent N***0 is suited for the processing of melamine-formaldehyde resins, urea resins and the impregnation of decor papers. In order to achieve the best possible results, thorough and careful admixing of the product is imperative. This should be done at room temperature. The dosage varies between 0.1 % and 0.3 % by mass. The optimum concentration has to be clarified individually by trials. It is advisable to start the tests with the lowest recommended levels and to increase the dosage until the desired results are achieved. Wetting Agent N***0 can be used in combination with other additives to solve many product and process problems. Wetting Agent N***0 should be stored in tightly sealed containers and has to be protected from frost, heat and direct sunlight.
