Application: Zinc is a component of various enzymes in bodies of livestock and poultry, which directly participates in protein, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, the animals’ weight gain will slow down in a mild zinc deficiency; in severe cases, they will loss their appetite. It mainly used in feed additives (supplement of trace zinc), and is also the raw materials of manufacturing zinc-barium powder and other zinc salts and an important supplementary material of viscose fiber and vinylon fiber, which is also used as a dyeing agent, wood and leather agent, glue clarifier and protective agent, pharmaceutical emetic and fungicide. It also used in electroplating, flotation, preventing fruit tree diseases and the circulating cooling water treatment, and as a fertilizer in agriculture. In the United States, it is also used as an animal bath lotion, using convergence of zinc sulfate to effectively prevent the animal dermatosis and improve the fur quality. 1.
