Product Description

Description
It is one component, fast-curing, low-modulus polyurethane sealant. The sealant is black creamy and applied by extruded. It will not sag after filling the vertical joints and top seam. The curing layer is elastic and bonding well with metal, rubber, wood, glass and cement concrete.

Application
1. Substrate Preparation
Joints to be sealed or substrate to be bonded should be sound, clean, dry and free of oil and grease. Curing compound residues and other foreign matters must be thoroughly removed.

Priming

Priming is an extra step and depends on substrate and final end use. It can improve the corrosion resistance of certain metals as well as the durability of the bond when exposed to high humidity conditions. For most applications, high strength bonds on metal can be achieved without priming. It is suggested to pre-testing for adhesion to determine if a primer is needed.

Joint Treatment

It should be applied into joints when joint slot is at mid-point of its designed expansion and contraction. Place nozzle of gun into bottom of the joint filling entire joint. Keep nozzle in the sealant, and continue on with a steady flow of sealant preceding the nozzle to avoid air entrapment. Avoid overlapping of sealant to eliminate entrapment of air.

Attentions

Avoid contact with alcohol or other solvent materials during curing.
Do not apply sealant when moisture-vapor transmission condition exists from the substrate, as it can cause bubbles within sealant.
Use unpacked sausages the same day.
Do not use in contact with bituminous materials.
