A single-component butyl sealant, UP***6 is a non-cured, hot-melt
sealant. The product possesses great plasticity and sealing
properties within wide range of application temperature, and it
exhibits an outstanding adhesion to most common IG materials such
as glass and aluminum. Its exceptional ultraviolet resistance and
great weather durability ensure such favorable properties as
non-cracking on the surface, non –hardening, and permanent
plasticity with silicone and polysulfide sealants, UP***6 could
combine with other elastomeric sealant materials to form a great
barrier for moisture, endowing a long application life for
insulating glass systems.
UP***6 is a non-reactive, hot-melt sealant, with no harm to human
and environment. It is therefore considered as a “Green” product.
